Garboard Drains

For thicker transoms, Forespar designed the drain & plug assemblies below.  Our Marelon female 3/4” (19mm) elbows or female threaded barbed hose fitting can be screwed onto the end for hose attachment if needed. All Marelon construction ensures years of corrosion free use.

GD-S #906075 (short) Useable length with 5 threads engaged is 2-1/2" (63.50mm) maximum, 1-7/16" (36.15mm) minimum.

GD-L #906076 (long) Usable length with 5 threads engaged is 3-1/4" (82.55mm) maximum, 2-1/2" (63.50mm) minimum.

Diameter of the flange (both ends) is 2" (50.80mm). Diameter of the body (female threaded unit) is 1-3/16" (30.16mm). This is the diameter of the hole needed to install the unit through the transom. The screw style plug with gasket comes with it standard. Color of the Marelon® material is white (like all out T-hulls).

For newer transoms, Forespar® designed a drain & plug assembly to fit up to 1-3/4" (44.45mm) thick transoms. Our Marelon® female 3/4" (19.05mm) elbows or female threaded barbed hose fitting can be screwed onto the end for hose attachments if needed. All Marelon® construction ensures years of corrosion free use.

Diameter of the flange (both ends) is 2” (50.8mm). Diameter of the body (female threaded unit) is 1” (26.1mm). This is the diameter of the hole needed to install the unit through the transom.
